Picture 1) Ganache cupcakes. Soooooo good. I think the focus on this could get better, but I think it has pretty good depth of field.
Picture 2) Birthday cake made for me today. :) I like the focus on this. I would get rid of the distracting thing in the background though.
Looks like a delicious birthday! I love how the cupcake shows where someone got into the frosting. It's catching little details of humanity that make great photos . . . and I suppose beautiful cupcakes don't hurt anything :) I think the depth of field and angle of both of these really make the picture! Also, nice lighting . . .the food looks appetizing! Sweet :) Pardon the pun.
